Why Ninja Softeq

Design Support Without a Designer on the Payroll

Most small businesses need design in short bursts. A logo when they start, a flyer before an event, a run of social posts, a brochure for a trade stand. That pattern does not justify a salary, and it is usually why the work ends up being done by whoever has an afternoon spare. Design support that you call on when you need it fits the way the work actually arrives.

Everything starts to look like the same business

When artwork gets made in different places over time, the colours drift and the logo ends up in four sizes. Designs built from one set of brand decisions keep the shop sign, the invoice, the Instagram grid and the brochure recognisably connected.

Artwork prepared for where it is going

A flyer bound for a printer and a banner bound for a website are built differently, at different resolutions, in different colour settings. We set each design up for its intended use, so the printer does not send it back and the website image does not look soft.

One design or a steady trickle of them

Some clients come to us once, for a logo or a menu. Others send a handful of social graphics every month. Both are quoted the same way, on what the job involves, so a single small piece of work is worth asking about.

What Our Graphic Design Services Include

Design work falls into a few broad jobs: giving a business a visual identity, keeping its social channels looking consistent, making artwork for campaigns and advertising, and preparing materials for print or for a website. Each one below explains what the design contains and what you get back at the end.

Logo and Brand Identity Design

A visual identity is the logo plus the decisions around it: which colours are yours, which fonts go with them, and how the logo behaves when it has to sit on a dark background or shrink onto a business card. We work this up for new businesses and rework it for companies whose branding has aged or spread in different directions. This is identity design rather than brand strategy consultancy, so it covers how the business looks rather than how it positions itself commercially.

  • Logo concepts, then refinement of the one you pick
  • Logo variations for dark, light, square and horizontal use
  • A brand colour palette and font recommendations
  • Logo files in the formats a printer and a web developer each need

Social Media Graphic Design

Posting regularly is easier when the artwork already exists. We design post graphics, campaign artwork, story frames and profile or cover images, sized for each platform so nothing important sits under the interface. Where you post often, reusable templates are usually the better buy: you get a set of layouts your own team can drop new text and photos into, rather than coming back for every individual post.

  • Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn post graphics
  • Story frames, highlight covers and profile artwork
  • Campaign and promotion artwork across several sizes
  • Reusable templates for your team to fill in

Marketing and Advertising Design

Campaign artwork has to work small, fast and often in several sizes at once. We design display banners at standard ad dimensions, promotional graphics for offers and launches, email headers and artwork for events. Where a campaign runs across more than one channel, the same idea gets adapted to each placement rather than stretched to fit, so the ad, the email and the landing page graphic read as one piece of work.

  • Display and social advertising banners at standard sizes
  • Offer, launch and seasonal promotion artwork
  • Email marketing headers and graphics
  • Event artwork, including signage and handouts

Print and Business Materials

Print is less forgiving than a screen. Artwork needs bleed, the right colour settings and fonts that have been handled properly, or the printer sends it back. We design business cards, flyers, posters, brochures, menus and stationery, and supply print-ready files set up to a printer’s specification. We design and prepare the artwork rather than print it, so you can use whichever printer you prefer, and we will check their spec before the files go over.

  • Business cards, letterheads and compliment slips
  • Flyers, posters and leaflets
  • Brochures, menus and information sheets
  • Print-ready PDFs set up to your printer’s requirements

Website and Digital Graphics

Websites need artwork that the site can actually carry: hero banners at the right proportions, promotional graphics for offers, images to sit at the top of blog articles, and icons that match each other rather than coming from three different sets. This is the artwork rather than the build, so it works whether your site is being developed by us or by someone else, and the files arrive compressed and sized for the web.

  • Homepage and landing page banners
  • Blog and article header images
  • Matching icon sets and supporting graphics
  • Promotional graphics for offers and announcements

Presentations and Business Documents

Documents that go in front of a customer are worth designing properly. We lay out pitch decks, company profiles, proposals, price lists and simple infographics, applying your brand consistently and making dense information easier to follow. Where you need to edit the document yourself afterwards, tell us at the briefing stage so it can be built in a format your team can open and update.

  • Pitch decks and sales presentations
  • Company profiles and proposal documents
  • Price lists, catalogues and product sheets
  • Infographics and simple data visuals

Where Your Business Is Starting From

Creative design team reviewing brand colours, graphic design concepts and printed marketing materials together.

A new business, or one whose materials have drifted apart

These two situations need almost opposite work. A business opening its doors has nothing to be consistent with, so the first job is making the decisions: the logo, the colours, the fonts, and how they sit together on the first few things that get printed. A business that has been trading for years usually has the opposite problem. The logo exists but it has been redrawn by three different people, the colours vary by material, and nobody can find the original files. There, the job is deciding what to keep, tidying it up and getting everything back onto one set of rules.

Working with branding you already have

If you have a logo, brand colours or existing artwork, send them over and new designs get built to match. Original source files make that easier, but they are not essential: we can work from a high-resolution logo and a note of your colours, and we will tell you if something is going to limit what the design can do, for example a logo that only exists as a low-resolution image. Where you would rather start again, that is a separate piece of identity work and gets quoted as such rather than quietly folded into a smaller job.

Our Approach

How a Graphic Design Project Runs

How long a project takes depends on how much is being designed and how quickly feedback comes back. The sequence is the same either way, so you know what you are agreeing to before anything starts.

Tell us what you need designed

A short call or email covering what the design is for, where it will be used, who it is aimed at and anything that has to appear on it.

Send your existing brand materials

Logo files, brand colours, fonts, photographs and any previous artwork you want matched. If you have examples of designs you like, those help too.

Scope and quote agreed in writing

We confirm what is being designed, how many pieces, which formats you will receive and what it costs, before any design work begins.

Design and first presentation

The work is produced and sent to you to look at, shown in context where that helps, for example a flyer as it will be printed or a banner as it will appear on the page.

Your feedback, then changes

Send your comments as one list naming the specific elements. The revised version comes back with those changes applied. The number of rounds included is set out in your quote.

Final files delivered

Once you sign off, the approved artwork is supplied in the agreed formats, print-ready for printed items and web-sized for anything going online.

Scope and Pricing

How a Design Quote Is Worked Out

A single social post and a full visual identity are not comparable pieces of work, so there is no standard price for graphic design. Tell us what you need and you will get a written quote for that job, covering what is being designed, how many pieces and which formats you receive.

01 / SCOPE

How much is being designed

The number of separate pieces, how many sizes or variations each needs, and whether they are new designs or adaptations of something that already exists.

02 / SCOPE

What you already have

A business with a settled logo, colours and fonts gives the designer a starting point. Where the identity has to be created first, that is a separate piece of work with its own scope.

03 / SCOPE

Where the artwork is going

Print and digital are prepared differently, and a design needed in several formats takes longer than one. Regular monthly work is quoted on volume rather than piece by piece.

FAQs

Graphic Design Services: Frequently Asked Questions

Practical answers before you send your brief.

Logo and brand identity design, social media graphics, marketing and advertising artwork, print materials such as flyers, brochures, menus and business cards, website banners and supporting digital graphics, and layout work for presentations and business documents. Projects can be a single piece of design or a regular run of artwork, and both are quoted on what the work involves.

Yes. For a business starting out, logo design usually comes with the decisions that sit around it: a colour palette, font choices and the logo variations you will need for signage, social profiles and print. Tell us what the business does, who it sells to and any look you are drawn to, and that becomes the starting brief.

A logo is one mark. Brand identity is the logo plus the rules for using it: your colours, your fonts, the logo versions for dark and light backgrounds, and how everything is applied across your materials. A logo on its own is fine for a very small project. Identity work is what keeps a business looking consistent as it grows.

Yes, most of our work is exactly that. Send your logo, brand colours, fonts and any artwork you want matched, and new designs are built to fit what you already have. Original source files make this easier but are not essential. If something in the existing material limits what the design can do, we will tell you before the work starts.

What the design is for, where it will be used and anything that must appear on it, such as wording, contact details or prices. Add your logo and brand files if you have them, plus photographs you want used. Examples of designs you like are genuinely useful. If you are unsure about any of it, say so and we will work through it on a call.

Yes. You see the design before anything is finalised and you can ask for changes. Comments that name the specific element are the quickest to act on, for example that the headline should be larger or a colour is not quite your brand blue. How many rounds of changes are included is confirmed in your written quote before the work begins.

You receive the approved artwork in the formats its intended use requires, which is agreed at the quote stage. Anything destined for a printer is supplied print-ready, and anything for online use is sized and compressed for the web. If you need a specific file type, or files you can edit yourself later, raise it during the briefing so it can be included in the scope.

Yes. A single flyer, one menu, a set of business cards or one logo are all normal pieces of work, and there is no requirement to commit to anything ongoing. If you later want regular design support, that is quoted separately on the volume of work rather than as a package you have to join at the start.

Yes. Our office is in East London and we work with businesses across the UK, Europe and the Middle East. Design projects run remotely as a matter of course: briefs by call, email or WhatsApp, reference material and finished files by shared link. Being in Dublin, Rotterdam or Doha does not change how the project is handled.
